This Friday afternoon we are happy to welcome the newly-formed Austrian electronics-cluster SILICON ALPS and a delegation of 20 representatives of Austrian business and technology promotion agencies, research institutions, tech companies and startups to x.factory. At the same time, we’ll also invite two x.factory members, Joris Lam and Shannon Hoover, to share their projects and how Shenzhen resources can help makers & startups from abroad.
Silicon Alps is an Austrian technology and innovation cluster for electronic and micro-electronic based systems and is headed by Ms. Gaby Schaunig, the Vice Governor of the Austrian State Carinthia (Kärnten).
The delegation wants to learn more about the Hong Kong/South China eco-system and to get an update on the latest development in research and innovation and in startup promotion. The delegation would also like to present the latest Austrian technology and innovation trends in the fields of mobility, IoT/smart products, health tech, energy & environment and automation with a special focus on electronics and microelectronics.
The participants of this delegation are interested in finding local partners for an exchange of information and experience and mutual further cooperation.
